Theater and cabaret layouts
Choose from theater rows with a center aisle, cabaret rounds open toward the stage, or classroom-style rows for training.
Breakout pod layouts
Generate separate charts per breakout session from the same attendee list.
Dietary and meal tracking
Track dietary restrictions and meal choices. Export a per-table caterer report for your venue.
Attendee QR seat finder
Generate a QR code for the entry table. Attendees scan and search their name to find their seat.
How to use Corporate Event Seating Chart Generator
- 1Add your attendee list
Enter names or import from CSV. Add department/team groupings so the solver knows which people should sit together.
- 2Choose a layout
Select theater rows for presentations, banquet rounds for dinners, cabaret for awards shows, or breakout pods for workshops.
- 3Set constraints
Place VIPs and speakers near the front, group departments at the same table, and separate competing companies if needed.
- 4Generate the floor plan
Click Generate. The solver respects all grouping and proximity constraints automatically.
- 5Export for your team
Print the floor plan, export PNG for slide decks, or generate a QR code attendees scan at the door to find their seat.
Why most corporate events still use Excel
Paid enterprise tools like AllSeated and Social Tables cost $20–$200 per month. For internal events and conferences under 500 people, that is rarely justified. Most event planners default to Excel or PowerPoint — which work, but require manual layout and offer no constraint logic. This tool fills that gap: serious features, free, no account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I seat people by department automatically?
- Yes. Add a department name to each attendee in the Roster tab, then add a "Group Together" constraint. The solver will seat teammates at the same table.
What layouts are available for corporate events?
- Theater rows (with center aisle), banquet rounds, U-shape, seminar, cabaret, chevron, and breakout pods. All are pre-built and ready to use.
How many attendees does it support?
- Up to 1,000 attendees. For events over 500, the solver may take a few seconds — a progress indicator shows during generation.
Can I export the floor plan for my venue coordinator?
- Yes. Export as PDF (via browser print), PNG image, or share via a link. The PNG and PDF include the full labeled chart your coordinator needs.
