𝒞𝓊𝓇𝓈𝒾𝓋ℯ
Flowing italic script — the classic cursive look. Best for Instagram bios and TikTok captions.
𝓒𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓿𝓮
Heavier script weight — strong contrast on small text and dark mode bios.
𝐶𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑖𝑣𝑒
Slanted serif italic. Great for emphasis without going full cursive.
𝑪𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆
Heavy slanted serif. Reads cleanly across mobile platforms.
ℭ𝔲𝔯𝔰𝔦𝔳𝔢
Gothic / blackletter — medieval, decorative. Strong on Discord and Twitter; iffy on older Android.
𝕮𝖚𝖗𝖘𝖎𝖛𝖊
Heavy gothic. Bold version renders on more devices than regular fraktur.
ℂ𝕦𝕣𝕤𝕚𝕧𝕖
Outlined characters — math/blackboard style. Eye-catching on Discord and X.
𝙲𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚒𝚟𝚎
Code-style fixed-width characters. Perfect for tech bios.
𝖢𝗎𝗋𝗌𝗂𝗏𝖾
Clean geometric sans. Reads almost like the default font but distinct.
𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚
Heavy slanted sans-serif. Loud and modern — great for headline-style bios.
Tested for Instagram
Each style card shows a green Instagram badge if we have verified it renders cleanly in the current iOS and Android Instagram apps. Script and italic are the safest bets for bios.
Bio-friendly character count
Instagram bios cap at 150 characters. The character counter at the top counts your input — remember styled characters often count more than 1 byte each, so leave a little room.
Copy in one tap
Each style has a Copy button. Tap, switch to Instagram, paste into the bio field. The output is plain text, not an image — no recipient install needed.
Reverse mode for cleanup
Toggle Reverse to paste in already-styled bio text and get plain ASCII back — useful for tidying up bios you copied from another profile.
Use the input box at the top. Try a one-liner with your name, location, or a short phrase. Long bios over 150 characters will not fit in Instagram's field.
Scroll the cards and look for the green IG badge — those are verified to render in current Instagram apps. Script and italic are the most reliable. Fraktur and double-struck are partial — they render on most current devices but show boxes on older Android.
The button flips to Copied ✓. Open Instagram, go to Edit Profile, paste into Bio. Save.
Always check how your bio looks on at least one other device. If a friend on older Android sees boxes, switch to italic — it has the widest support.
Across hundreds of paste tests on current iOS and Android Instagram apps, the consistently-rendering styles are italic, bold-italic, script, script-bold, monospace, sans-serif, and sans-serif bold-italic. Fraktur and double-struck render perfectly on iPhone but show occasional tofu (▯) on Android devices that ship with smaller font sets — typically pre-Android-13 budget phones.
The practical rule: if your audience is a mixed Android crowd, start with italic or script. If you know your followers are mostly iPhone or new-gen Android, fraktur and double-struck become viable. The badge row on each card encodes this so you do not have to guess.
