If Cursor’s status shows "Tab" as degraded, it’s upstream. If green, check (1) your subscription is active, (2) you haven’t hit your quota, (3) the file isn’t in `.cursorignore`, and (4) Cursor is updated to the latest version.
Is Cursor down when Anthropic or OpenAI is down?
Effectively yes for the affected model. Cursor lets you switch between Claude, GPT, and Gemini per request — switching to a healthy provider is the fastest mitigation during a single-vendor outage.
